英國超市標榜永續水產品熱賣英國幾家龍頭超市近日指出,自從鼓勵消費者也能以拒絕食用丟棄作業法捕撈魚種以緩解受歡迎魚種資源壓力的第四頻道新節目「Fish Fightcampaigne」播出後,掀起消費者捨棄經常食用的鮭魚、鱈魚(cod)及鮪魚,轉而選購綠青鱈(coley)、比目魚(dab)、淡菜(mussels)、烏賊及沙丁魚等「另類」水產品熱設計裝潢銷潮。Sainsbury’s連鎖便利超商則表示,由擺滿各式生鮮冰櫃裡發現本週大西洋明太鱈(pollack)比上週狂銷167%,就能看出消費者迴響有多熱烈。英國及MSC認證的鯖魚及淡菜分別熱銷成長60%及16%,顯示消費者以實際行動証明認同Jamie Oliver節目的觀點。而最近有標示使用竿釣(pole and line)永續漁法的鮪罐熱銷成長17%,有裝潢機鮭魚熱銷成長16%,一般鮭魚銷售則持平。英國最大的水產品零售商Tesco報導,新鮮的沙丁魚、綠青鱈、褐蟹(brown crab)、黍鯡(sprats)及牙鱈(Whiting)在節目播出後的週銷量就成長25-45%。Waitrose超市報導,水產品總銷售量增加15%,其中並以平常比較不受青睞的魚種賣得最好。冷凍的綠青鱈及鯖魚分別熱銷36%及31%,多佛居酒屋比目魚(Dover sole)則狂銷163%。Asda超市報導,1月中水產品全面熱銷成長10%,尤以前一個禮拜播出的「Jamie Oliver ’s recipes」介紹到的水產品最暢銷。鱒魚片(trout)銷售成長56%、全沙丁魚66%及全鯖魚熱銷115%。(摘譯自INFOFISH Trade News, No. 2/2011)SALES OF SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD SOAR IN SUPERMARKETSSales 買屋網of “alternative” species of seafood have soared after being featured in Channel 4’s new FishFightcampaigne, the UK’s leading supermarkets reported recently.Consumers are favouring coley, dab, mussels, squid and sardines over the staple salmon, cod and tunafollowing the programme, which 保濕面膜highlighted the wasteful use of “discard” in fishing practices whileencouraging shoppers to take pressure off popular fish stocks by being more adventurous in what they eat.Sainsbury’s said sales of “by-catch” from its fresh fish counter had been promising overall, while sales ofAtlantic 節能燈具pollack had leapt by 167% week on week.
